| I have done it. I have written new lyrics to the Indiana fight song. The "peel my banana" stuff sucks, so we've got some new lyrics, let me know what you think, but as usual I'm not really interested in advise, so if you don't like them you can fuck yourself. I have posted the original lyrics followed by my verse:
Indiana, our Indiana Indiana, we're all for you! We will fight for the cream and crimson For the glory of old IU Never daunted, we cannot falter In the battle, we're tried and true Indiana, our Indiana, Indiana we're all for you! I-U!
Indiana, Fuck Indiana Indiana, we'll cum on you! you will suck for the cream and semen On your face it's all for you, fuck U Fuck your daughter, Fuck your father In the ass hole you're drilled and screwed Indiana Fuck Indiana Indiana We'll cum on you!

| I'm subbing again, i've been busy this week, fortunately I've had a teacher whose father has had a complicated surgery and a sick choir teacher. It is pretty morbid when you think about how this job works, oh well. I'm going to ride my(mike's) motorcycle to school today, I'm totally the coolest sub ever!

| So I might be making a huge decision soon. I am thinking about going back to school and getting a license to teach elementary. Not music, just regular elementary school classes. In most cases this is a Masters Degree, so I may require you all to refer to me as Master Luukkonen soon. I haven't really decided yet but I'm talking to some people at Augsburg right now to see if it will be possible for me to get it done. This of course is a huge decision because if I spend 20 G's on a new degree, I'm not going to skip it and teach music. So I'm at a crossroads, I'm not a girl not yet a woman, all I need is some time, a moment that's mine, to figure out what I'm going to do.

| I did not get the job. I'm pretty much over it now, but honestly I was pretty devastated when I read the letter. I spent the rest of the day drinking and then fled the state for a couple days, that's pretty healthy. I've got three more applications out there: Isle, Lanesboro, and Farmington. I'm really hoping for Farmington, which is funny because I distinctly remember making a joke about how I would end up in Farmington some day.
I'm really getting burnt-out working up here. We've had some delays in our materials supply so that has set us back a few days. We were planning on finishing this week, but that will not happen now. I'll be back for one more week, and then I can say goodbye to my home in the north woods. When I'm done I'll post some pictures of the cabin so you can see what Omernik and I can do!
I'm pretty much burnt-out in general. I'm sick of job searching, and being unemployed. I'm taking suggestions for other possible careers, feel free to chime in.
I will be running a 5K on September 16. It is for the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance, anyone who is interested should let me know and I'll get you an entry form, otherwise you can sponsor me or anyone that is running. I hope to see you all there, or at least your money! The event is for Ovarian Cancer Awareness so the more people we get there the better.

| I haven't heard anything about the interview. I'm pretty much freaking out at this point. I wish I could say I was optomistic, but I'm assuming I won't get it. I think the interview went okay, but when I think about the competition for that position the odds are against me. I was up against every unemployed music teacher in the twin cities. It would be great to get the job though, don't get me wrong, I really want the job, I'm just not going to get my hopes up.
In other news, my friend Mark came to visit Omernik and I yesterday, we drove around the lake and drank beer, it was awesome. Mark is the Orchestra director in Fergus, so he made a little roadtrip, that was nice.
I am supposed to hear about the job this week, so that leaves tomorrow, I will post again when I know how it turned out.
